Meet Rachel

Rachel is a Charleston, South Carolina native with over a decade of experience helping organizations translate purpose into practice, locally and internationally, building deep-rooted connections - primarily focused in the environmental and conservation space.

At Drift Consulting, Rachel combines her years of experience to drive change in the private sector where she assists brands and businesses in meaningful impact initiatives.

Rachel is an expert in leading mission-driven outreach and engagement opportunities, impact reporting and storytelling, strategic planning, advocacy campaigns, implementing on-the-ground projects, building community partnerships, working within the grant making process, and sales within the outdoor retail space.

Upon completion of her B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from the University of Georgia, Rachel went on to work as a research assistant on a marine-focused PhD project in Western Australia. Upon returning to Charleston to complete her Masters of Environmental Studies from the College of Charleston, Rachel worked for several environmental and conservation organizations building a variety of experience and deep-rooted connections while nurturing brand and business partnerships.
