Meet Rachel
Rachel is a Charleston, South Carolina native with over a decade of environmental and conservation experience.
At Drift Consulting, Rachel combines her years of experience to drive change in the private sector where she assists brands and businesses in meaningful engagement and partnership initiatives related to sustainability, conservation and the environment.
Rachel is an expert in leading mission-driven outreach and engagement opportunities, advocacy campaigns, implementing on-the-ground marine conservation and restoration projects, building community partnerships, leading sustainability initiatives, working within the grant making process, and sales within the outdoor retail space.
Upon completion of her B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from the University of Georgia, she went on to work as a research assistant on a PhD project related to Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins in Western Australia. Upon returning to Charleston to complete her Masters of Environmental Science from the College of Charleston, Rachel went on to work for several environmental and conservation organizations building a variety of experience and deep-rooted connections.
